Monegasque Language Competition
The traditional Monegasque Language Competition, organized by the Monaco City Council, will pay tribute to Prince Rainier III on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. This competition was created under the reign of Prince Rainier III who was keen to pass on the Monegasque language to the younger generations, making it compulsory to learn it from primary school onwards.
