Ocean Space Forum
Following the success of the 1st edition in 2023, Monaco's Office of Space Affairs, CNES and Prométhée Earth Intelligence are organizing the 2nd edition of the Ocean Space Forum on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the prestigious setting of Monaco's Oceanographic Museum.
Once again this year, the Forum will bring together eminent figures from the worlds of research, politics and business to highlight the contribution of New Space technologies to the preservation and sustainable management of our most precious resource: the Ocean.
The program will include captivating round-table discussions on key issues such as the preservation of marine ecosystems, the development of the blue economy, the fight against climate change and its impact on the oceans, and the conservation of marine resources.
The OSF 2024 will be an important milestone on the road to the Third United Nations Ocean Conference, jointly organized by the governments of France and Costa Rica, to be held in Nice from June 9 to 14, 2025. This conference will play a key role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Goal 14 to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for development.
The event is in French and English, there will be English-French interpreters and headsets will be provided at the entrance.
