World Clean-up Day
is organizing a morning of litter-picking on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., in partnership
in partnership with Société Monégasque d'Assainissement (SMA).
Like last year's event, this year's edition will take the form of a walk, during which participants will collect garbage along their route.
The walk will start at the Monte-Carlo Market at 9:30 a.m., where gloves and rubbish bags will be provided by SMA. It will then take in the Avenue de la Costa, the Avenue Princesse Alice, down the Avenue d'Ostende and on to Fort Antoine, after skirting the Route de la Piscine and the Quai Antoine 1er. The route ends at Monaco Town Hall via Avenue Saint-Martin. The collected waste will then be transported to the Cour d'Honneur, where it will be weighed.
Afterwards, a cocktail will be offered to all participants.

With this initiative, the Institution Communale once again confirms its commitment to the environment and its major role in the organization of World Clean Up Day in the Principality.
