A peculiar turn of events sees three young women launch a phone sex service. Old maids? Not Marthe, Denise and Jeanne, who would rather be spending their nights out on the town and meeting the love of their lives. Set in the Paris of the Années Folles, this is the incredible story of three telephone switchboard operators who create a stir by founding a new kind of service: giving pleasure to men with just the sound of their voice. But their innovative enterprise soon attracts unwanted attention, from an opportunist gangster, nosy colleagues, and the morality police...
