Monaco and the Napoleons: Intertwined Destinies
To tell this fascinating and little-known story — and to shed light on the interactions involving grandeur, power, military exploits, and personal relationships — the event will bring together major historical pieces that illustrate the origins and the formation of the modern Monegasque state.
Artistic and historical treasures revealed for the first time
Thanks to the collaboration of the most prestigious French and Monegasque museums, renowned private collections, the participation of an Italian museum, and the invaluable support of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco — which grants access to many treasures from its collections and archives — nearly 200 works of exceptional historical and artistic value, many of which have rarely or never been shown to the public, will be brought together for this exhibition.
