European Heritage Days: Association Terres Méditerranéennes
Terres méditerranéennes runs creative and recreational workshops to pass on craft skills, knowledge of local flora and fauna, and the traditional heritage of Monaco and the surrounding region to young people. Simone Cassini opens the doors of the "u mazaghìn" workshop to present her ceramic works.
"A childhood linked to my grandmothers, one from Piedmont and a pastry chef, the other from Liguria, distilling the strong scents of her homeland. My eyes were sharpened by the pictorial universe of my father, an artist from San Remo. Professional experiences abroad, among pots and pans. Back to my roots and destination Monaco for a loving encounter with ceramics. These were all stages that shaped my taste for good and beautiful things, and my desire to create my own whimsical and colorful world, inspired by cuisine, architecture, design and, above all, nature.
