Through operas and oratorios, composers have always loved to depict heroines from Christian history and mythology, by speaking directly to God, or to the Gods. Meditation, prayer, anger: embark on an emotional musical and historical journey!
Mezzo-soprano Simona Caressa was born in Naples and studied in Milan, Lyon, and Marseille. Winner of international competitions, she regularly performs some of the greatest roles in the repertoire, from Carmen to Cherubino. Simona Caressa, an expert in chamber music, is a guest at the foremost festivals in France. She lives in Monaco.
