Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Monaco and the Mediterranean International Meetings (RIMM) will take place on 5 and 6 March 2026 at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, featuring two days of conferences and debates.

Avec Ulysse, par tous les temps.

For this thirteenth edition, the symposium is devoted to the figure of Ulysses, hero of journeying and return, whose myth has spanned the centuries and continues to illuminate Mediterranean culture.

Through the arts, literature, history, cinema, and contemporary thought, the presentations will offer a multidisciplinary reflection on the reinterpretations of Ulysses—as a figure of wandering, intelligence, memory, and exile.

Researchers, academics, writers, art historians, and artists will bring their perspectives together to examine the relevance of this myth in light of the cultural and human challenges of our time. A dialogue between Antiquity and the present, between founding myths and contemporary realities, at the heart of the Mediterranean.

Supported by the Princely Government, the Meetings are organized by the Monégasque Association for the Advancement of Knowledge of the Arts (AMCA), in partnership with the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, and the Monaco National Commission for UNESCO.
