Monaco's Department of Cultural Affairs presents "Memory of places", an exhibition devoted to the heritage and memories that shape the Principality.
From 1 October 2026 to 24 January 2027, the Quai Antoine I Exhibition Hall becomes the setting for a sensitive reflection on what remains when buildings disappear, landscapes change and the city reinvents itself.
Through photographs, monumental works, audiovisual installations and contemporary creations, the exhibition invites visitors to explore Monaco in a different way, as a city in constant flux where artworks, architecture, stories and residents' experiences are all fragments of a living memory.
Curated by Célia Bernasconi, Director of the Heritage Institute, the exhibition is part of the Institute's role in preserving and enhancing the works that contribute to the Principality's history.
A group exhibition featuring Albert Diato, Luis Molné, Roger Capron, Victor Vasarely, Denis Morog, Keith Haring, Gabriele Basilico, Gabriel-Noé Rosticher, Lidwine Prolonge, Mathilde Janson and Jürgen Nefzger.
Guest artist: Gabriel-Noé Rosticher
Gabriel-Noé Rosticher, who graduated from Pavillon Bosio in 2023, has developed a practice centred on listening to and perceiving our environment. Working in video, installation and three-dimensional form, he explores urban spaces and their sonic dimensions, both visible and invisible.
For "Memory of places", he has created a new film about Monaco, offering a sensory map of the Principality through its tunnels, galleries, infrastructure, traffic routes and spaces undergoing transformation.
The exhibition's scenography is by Louise Chatelain and Théophile Sargenti, created as part of Pavillon Bosio's "Décors" programme.
Admission is free and open to all
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.
