The Antarès Ensemble was founded in 2024 out of a shared desire: to create a musical project in which friendship and a passion for music come together in an atmosphere of freedom and creativity. These six musicians, all graduates of Noémie Bialobroda’s chamber music class at the Geneva University of Music, thus form a flexible ensemble, enabling it to adapt to any project, from small chamber music ensembles to large symphonic orchestras.
In November 2024, the ensemble was awarded the Daisy de Saugy Prize, presented to “a particularly brilliant quartet”. Among its many projects on the Geneva music scene, it notably staged a symphonic concert in 2025, showcasing the talents of its members as soloists or conductors.
Since its formation, the ensemble has had the opportunity to study with Anna Göckel and the Belcea Quartet. It has also benefited from the valuable guidance of Lorenzo Coppola, Yovan Markovitch and Luc-Marie Aguera.
