Lecture - "The Rebirth of the Oppidum d’Ensérune and Museum"
Recently renovated by the French national monuments centre, the museum of Ensérune now houses a newly-designed exhibition with a contemporary aesthetic. Research carried out at the site by Félix Mouret in the early 20th century uncovered one of the largest protohistoric necropolises in southern France. This lecture is by Lionel IZAC, director of the Oppidum and Archaeological Museum of Ensérune, Centre des Monuments Nationaux, and Sophie IZAC, Curator at the Oppidum and Archaeological Museum of Ensérune, Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
