Mural painting for ages 10 to 14
The workshop begins with an introduction to the traditional technique of fresco, used since antiquity and widely developed during the Renaissance. Through a demonstration, the children will see each stage of the process: preparing the lime plaster, applying it to the surface, then painting onto the still-wet plaster with pigments. This introduction will help them understand what sets this historic technique apart before they create their own collective fresco in acrylic paint.
