“My mother is dead, but I am handling a living material”. Multi-award winning best-sellier "Rien ne s’oppose à la nuit" paints a portrait of a mother, and through her that of a family in the shadow of tragedy, a family that is unique yet universal. Keeping an almost visceral connection with the book, author Delphine de Vigan has always refused to allow it to be adapted for the screen or stage.
