Traditions - "Saint Devota Celebrations"
As part of celebrations marking Saint Devota's Day, members of the public are invited to attend the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament from the secure zone on the concourse at Place Sainte Dévote. Afterward, those who wish will then be directed to a second secure zone on Quai Albert Ier, from where they will be able to watch the symbolic boat burning ceremony and firework display, which will be accompanied by Corsican polyphonic chant and music evoking important periods in the life of Saint Devota.
