All the codes of a radio debate are found in this evening. Before the spectators, a broadcast set is meticulously recreated: a journalist and their guests are gathered around a major historical figure now subject to controversy, Joan of Arc.
What was meant to be an exercise in intelligent entertainment takes on the appearance of a boxing match. A cartoonist, a priest, a mystic, a jurist, a rebellious director and a far-right journalist clash in a so-called "cultural" programme, recorded under live conditions.
By bringing together genuine experts and actors, the show playfully toys with the spectator's frame of reference and blurs the boundaries between sincerity and parody. The alternation between laughter and astonishment creates palpable tension: beneath a veil of comedy, reality erupts brutally.
