For European Heritage Day, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is giving you the chance to discover the expertise of the games staff in Monte-Carlo’s casinos during two visits at 9am and 10.30am.

“Nothing should be done here as it is done elsewhere”, said François Blanc, the founder of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. With its James Bond-esque atmosphere and its Belle Époque architecture, the Casino de Monte-Carlo remains one of the premier gaming and entertainment establishments in Europe and around the world.

Here, everything is done with care and finesse, to ensure visitors are immersed in a casino experience like nowhere else. The unique games tables are made by artisans in the Société des Bains de Mer workshops. The croupiers provide the very best services and know how to ensure players benefit from their unparalleled expertise.

In the afternoon, the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo is hosting La collection voyageuse, or The Travelling Collection, an outreach programme launched in 2018 by the artist Celia Pym and continued since by the pedagogical teams at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco (NMNM). This time, this tactile and discursive event will take place on the stage of the Opéra Garnier. Célia Bernasconi, lead curator of the NMNM, Noémie Margotteau, textile restorer, and Sinem Bostanci, outreach officer, will talk about the conservation, repair and transmission of costumes and accessories from the Opéra de Monte-Carlo which, since 2002, have been deposited by Société des Bains de Mer at the museum.
