Le Printemps des Arts - "Quatuor Modigliani"
Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn. Two precocious geniuses, both masters of the string quartet, a genre they transformed. Their final pieces are almost like silent movies for four musicians. The Quatuor Modigliani brings them together for these two concerts that retrace their lives' work.
