Le Printemps des Arts - "The Salt of the Earth"
For forty years, photographer Sebastião Salgado has travelled the continents, in the footsteps of a rapidly changing human race. He has been witness to some of the major events of recent history, from international conflicts to famine and exodus... Now, he has embarked on a journey to discover majestic landscapes and rich wildlife as part of a vast photographic project, a tribute to the beauty of our planet. His life and work are brought to life through the eyes of his son Juliano, who accompanied him on his latest epic travels, and fellow photographer Wim Wenders.
