The day will include an exhibition and a series of talks and debates, at what is now an essential B2B event for people doing business in Monaco, giving entrepreneurs from the Principality and all along the Riviera a golden opportunity to build their networks and meet leading experts to discuss current economic and technological challenges. Every year, the free event is attended by more than 1,000 visitors.

Over the last forty years, the way we use the sea has changed radically. While fishing and sailing continue to dominate, scientific and technological advances have paved the way for new marine activities, in turn prompting vital changes to laws and ocean management policies. The symposium, with INDEMER as its starting point, will bring together experts in a range of fields to discuss these developments, combining the hard and soft sciences to look at how international law can adapt to new marine activities whilst tackling key contemporary issues.
