Introducing the second "Green Shift Festival". Free and open to all, the event aims to promote new paradigms and give a glimpse of a new way of doing things as a society, by adopting a resilient, aware, inclusive approach. The festival will bring together committed and inspiring personalities from diverse backgrounds, including artists, intellectuals, activists, all working on new ways of thinking about ecology, putting the challenges we face today - and the future we must now build - into words and emotions.
UPAINT Monaco 2024, the famous street art festival, is ready to make its mark on the Principality of Monaco once more. The picturesque seafront Promenade du Larvotto will be transformed into a giant open-air gallery, featuring vibrant works by 12 street artists from all over the world. UPAINT Monaco is a celebration of art and nature, inspired by a vision of a living world in harmony with our environment. This year's festival promises an unforgettable experience, whether you're an art lover, a collector, or simply passing by.
Introducing the inaugural edition of the Green Shift Festival. A forum for dialogue and debate, the Green Shift Festival will bring together committed and passionate activists for a new outdoor event in the Principality of Monaco. The programme includes music, a documentary screening, performances, and readings, all designed to stimulate discussion with other types of languages that also reflect the emergence of new forms of commitment. The evening events are free to attend, but advance booking is recommended.
Every year, in the Principality, world-renowned street artists meet for the UPAINT event where they create art, live, while spectators watch. The public will be able to get hands on with the spray paint, thanks to the return of the free-expression wall. With the "Junior Challenge", young aspiring artists from Monegasque schools will do graffiti alongside the artists who will have made the trip. Their mission: Transform the city into an open-air museum and raise awareness of this art in its own right.
"Le Chat Déambule", an exhibition by Philippe Geluck, organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs.
