Guided tour of Monte-Carlo & Mareterra – Between boldness and legend

When people think of Monaco, Monte-Carlo often comes to mind. And yet, it is only one of the Principality’s neighborhoods, named after Prince Charles III.

Without Monte-Carlo, Monaco probably would not be the world-renowned destination it is today. Symbol of prestige and transformation, it has become a worldwide legend in just a few decades.

It all began during the Belle Époque, when aristocrats rushed to the Monte-Carlo Casino, propelling the city-state onto the international stage.

You will hear the remarkable story of a town that became emblematic. Both capital of gambling and culture, it is also the birthplace of an unprecedented urban ambition.

Today, this epic adventure continues with Mareterra, a new eco-district built on the sea that associates some of the greatest names of contemporary architecture. A technical achievement, it honors Monaco’s spirit of daring innovation, all the while addressing the environmental challenges of the future.

Between historical heritage, anecdotes, and contemporary challenges, this tour reveals Monaco in a new light, where past and future coincide.
